Who are Prolists?

Founded in 2005, we are provider of marketing lists and related services specialising in the UK Public Sector. We focus on providing high quality, verified, compliant lists, underpinned by a high level of customer service - backed up by over 20 years experience in the industry. We have supplied lists to thousands of clients over the years and enjoy a high level of repeat business.

Our clients range from very large commercial businesses to small start-ups.  We supply to data to many businesses within the NHS and Local/Central Government organisations.

Do you supply customised lists as well as your pre-defined lists?

Yes, in addition to around 1,000 predefined lists, we can build you a custom list based on over 700 defined job roles and 40,000 published job titles. You can also select by market sector, seniority, location and organisation size.

What type of data do you provide?

We provide business contact data relating to organisations and roles within the UK public sector and primary care.

This may include:

  • organisation names
  • job titles
  • contact names
  • work email addresses
  • postal addresses
  • telephone numbers

We do not supply consumer or personal lifestyle data.

Where does your data come from and how fresh is it? Do you have a data warranty?

Our data is compiled from:

  • publicly available sources
  • official organisational publications
  • direct verification (including contact with organisations)
  • trusted data partners
  • we focus on professional, work-related information relevant to business-to-business communication.

Data Warranty

The database is updated during a continuous rolling cycle with a verifcation cadence of 3-4 months. During that time our data compilers will endeavour to check all contacts, but in practice that is not always possible, for example if people in the database are on holiday.

This leads to data accuracy of around 95%, which is an industry-leading standard. We also supply the data with a delivery warranty.  See our terms for full details but essentially we will refund any invalid records reported by you within 30 days of their delivery to you. You will need to show some evidence of inaccuracy e.g. email bounce reports.

Are your lists GDPR compliant?

Yes.

Our data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and PECR and is limited to professional contact details used for legitimate business purposes.

We also ensure that:

  • data is relevant and proportionate
  • individuals can opt out of communications

What does “licensed data” mean?

Our data is supplied under licence for a fixed term, usually 12 months. This means that you are granted the right to use the data for a defined period, under specific conditions. The data is not sold or transferred as an asset.  See our terms page for full details of the licencing agreement.

Can we use the data for email marketing?

Yes, provided that:

  • communications are relevant to the recipient’s professional role
  • you comply with UK GDPR and PECR
  • you include appropriate identification and opt-out options

You are responsible for ensuring your campaigns comply with applicable regulations.
